Axios works with clients in three broad verticals:
ethanol and other gasoline substitutes biodiesel and other diesel substitutes biomass for stationary power
Biodiesel is a near-perfect diesel substitute at any blend levels, made from oily materials such as vegetable oils, waste fats, etc and methanol, via a chemical reaction called transesterification. As of last year (2006), global production stood at about 6.0 million tons of biodiesel (1.8 billion gallons).
